👥 Kingdom Keys Presents • Meet Your Neighbor

Meet Your Neighbor Governance

Meet Your Neighbor Guest Media Consent & Appearance Release

Recording • Publication • Distribution • Use of Your Story

Please review this agreement carefully before providing your consent to participate in a recorded Meet Your Neighbor conversation.

What You Are Authorizing Kingdom Keys to Record

Giving Us Permission to Capture the Conversation

By signing this agreement and participating in a recorded Meet Your Neighbor conversation, you authorize Kingdom Keys to record your participation using the media and production methods reasonably appropriate for the experience.

Depending upon how and where we meet, this may include:

  • Video recording.
  • Audio recording.
  • Photography.
  • Remote video or audio capture.
  • On-location recording.
  • Studio recording.
  • Behind-the-scenes production material when appropriate.
  • Other media intentionally created as part of your Meet Your Neighbor participation.

The purpose of this permission is to allow Kingdom Keys to capture the conversation and prepare approved Meet Your Neighbor media from it.

Your Voice, Image & Likeness

The recording may naturally capture your:

  • Voice.
  • Image.
  • Likeness.
  • Appearance.
  • Name or approved public name.
  • Statements made during the conversation.
  • Gestures and expressions.
  • Other aspects of your participation that are ordinarily captured by audio, video, or photography.

You authorize Kingdom Keys to use these elements as part of the recorded Meet Your Neighbor material, subject to the terms of this agreement.

The Conversation May Include More Than the Formal Sit-Down

A Meet Your Neighbor experience may sometimes include material recorded before, during, or after the primary conversation.

For example, an on-location story might include you:

  • Opening your business.
  • Walking through your workplace.
  • Demonstrating your craft.
  • Interacting within an appropriate community environment.
  • Showing something meaningful to your story.
  • Or participating in additional recorded conversation connected to the experience.

Kingdom Keys may also capture photographs, introductory material, environmental footage, or other supporting media when you knowingly participate in or permit that recording.

Permission to Record Does Not Mean Everything Recorded Must Be Published.

Kingdom Keys may determine that some recorded material should not be included in the final story.

Incidental Recording

In studio, remote, or on-location environments, cameras and microphones may sometimes capture incidental material connected to the production.

Kingdom Keys will make reasonable efforts to distinguish between material intentionally recorded for Meet Your Neighbor and clearly private interactions that are not intended to become part of the production.

If you are uncertain whether recording has begun or whether a particular conversation is being recorded, please ask.

Likewise, Kingdom Keys should make reasonable efforts to communicate when formal recording begins.

Other People & Locations

Your permission applies to your own participation.

It does not automatically grant Kingdom Keys permission to use the image, voice, private information, copyrighted materials, property, or other protected rights belonging to another person or organization.

When recording occurs at a business, workplace, organization, home, event, or other location, additional permissions may be required.

Kingdom Keys may obtain separate releases, avoid recording certain individuals or materials, change camera framing, obscure identifying information, or omit material when appropriate.

Materials You Bring to the Conversation

Sometimes a guest may want to share something that helps tell their story.

This might include:

  • Photographs.
  • Artwork.
  • Documents.
  • Video clips.
  • Audio recordings.
  • Books or publications.
  • Business materials.
  • Creative work.
  • Historical items.
  • Other media or materials connected to the conversation.

Showing or providing an item to Kingdom Keys does not automatically establish that Kingdom Keys has permission to reproduce or publish it.

Before using guest-provided material in a published production, Kingdom Keys may need to confirm that you own the relevant rights, have authority to authorize its use, or that another lawful basis permits its use.

Additional permissions may be requested when necessary.

Recording Is the Beginning of the Media Process

Granting permission to record allows us to capture the encounter.

Additional portions of this agreement explain how that recording may then be:

Edited. Prepared. Published. Distributed. Excerpted. Promoted. Preserved. And incorporated into the Meet Your Neighbor Experience.

Those permissions work together, but we want you to understand them one step at a time.

First, We Ask Permission to Record.
Then we explain what Kingdom Keys may do with the story we create together.

Editing & Preparing Your Story

From Recorded Conversation to Finished Experience

A natural conversation rarely arrives as a finished production. There may be pauses. Technical interruptions. Repeated thoughts. Moments before or after the primary conversation. Sections that require clarification. Material that creates privacy or confidentiality concerns. Or simply more conversation than can reasonably be included in a particular presentation.

By providing your consent under this agreement, you authorize Kingdom Keys to edit and prepare the recorded material for appropriate Meet Your Neighbor uses.

What Editing May Include

Kingdom Keys may perform reasonable production and editorial work such as:

  • Selecting portions of the recorded conversation.
  • Shortening material for length or pacing.
  • Removing pauses, repetitions, false starts, or technical interruptions.
  • Adjusting the sequence or presentation of material where appropriate for clarity or storytelling.
  • Improving audio and video quality.
  • Adjusting framing, lighting, sound, or other technical elements.
  • Adding titles, captions, subtitles, graphics, music, narration, transitions, or other production elements.
  • Removing or obscuring information for privacy, confidentiality, safety, or legal reasons.
  • Creating accessible versions, including captions or transcripts.
  • Preparing different versions for appropriate platforms, formats, audiences, or distribution channels.
  • Creating excerpts, previews, summaries, or other authorized expressions from the original recording.

These production decisions allow a conversation to become a finished experience without requiring every recorded moment to appear exactly as it occurred.

Editing Should Preserve Meaning

Kingdom Keys retains editorial discretion over the final production.

However, that discretion carries responsibility.

We Will Not Intentionally Edit Your Words to Materially Misrepresent What You Communicated.

A shorter version may not contain every explanation or detail from the full conversation. An excerpt may focus on one particular idea. A story may be arranged differently for clarity or pacing. But editing should not intentionally create a meaning materially contrary to what you actually communicated.

This principle applies whether the material appears as a full conversation, short clip, quotation, audio segment, written feature, promotional preview, or another authorized expression.

Context Matters

A sentence can sometimes mean something very different when separated from the conversation surrounding it.

For that reason, Kingdom Keys should exercise particular care when creating short excerpts from discussions involving sensitive, controversial, highly personal, or easily misunderstood subjects.

Our goal is not merely to find the most dramatic sentence.

Our goal is to preserve the integrity of the person and the conversation while creating material appropriate for the format in which it appears.

Not Everything Recorded Will Be Used

Permission to record and edit does not require Kingdom Keys to publish every portion of your participation.

Kingdom Keys may omit material for editorial, production, privacy, safety, legal, integrity, relevance, length, quality, or other reasonable considerations.

Some meaningful moments may remain outside the final production simply because they do not fit the particular story being prepared.

Likewise, Kingdom Keys may decide not to use a recording at all, subject to the terms of this agreement and applicable law.

Creating Different Versions

One conversation may appropriately become more than one media expression.

For example, Kingdom Keys may prepare:

The Full Conversation

A longer presentation allowing viewers to experience the discussion in greater depth.

The Featured Story

A produced version highlighting important portions of the conversation.

Short Conversations or Moments

Brief excerpts suitable for social or other approved media.

Audio Versions

Material prepared for Kingdom Keys Radio or other authorized audio environments.

Written Expressions

Approved quotations, summaries, articles, transcripts, or story features derived from the conversation.

Promotional Previews

Short material introducing viewers to your Neighbor Profile or inviting them to experience the larger conversation.

The applicable permissions for publication and distribution of these materials are addressed elsewhere in this agreement.

Artificial Intelligence & Production Assistance

Kingdom Keys may use appropriate artificial intelligence and automated production tools to assist with tasks such as:

  • Transcription.
  • Captioning.
  • Audio cleanup.
  • Video enhancement.
  • Identifying potential story themes.
  • Locating portions of a conversation for human review.
  • Preparing draft summaries.
  • Suggesting potential excerpts.
  • Formatting content for different media.
  • Organizing production assets.
  • Supporting accessibility.
  • Other appropriate production assistance.

AI may assist the production process.

It Does Not Receive Final Authority Over Your Story.

Material intended for publication should remain subject to appropriate human editorial review and Kingdom Keys approval.

Kingdom Keys should not intentionally use artificial intelligence to fabricate statements you did not make or deceptively create the appearance that you said or did something materially different from your actual participation without separate, clear authorization.

Synthetic or Materially Altered Representations

Ordinary editing, technical enhancement, captioning, translation, formatting, and production assistance are different from creating a synthetic representation of a person.

This agreement does not, by itself, authorize Kingdom Keys to create a materially deceptive digital replica of your voice, face, likeness, or performance for the purpose of making you appear to say or do things you did not actually say or do.

If Kingdom Keys later wishes to pursue a materially different synthetic or AI-generated use of your identity beyond the ordinary production activities described in this agreement, additional permission should be obtained where appropriate.

Translation & Accessibility

Meet Your Neighbor may eventually reach people who speak different languages or require different accessibility formats.

Where authorized and appropriate, Kingdom Keys may prepare:

  • Captions.
  • Transcripts.
  • Translations.
  • Subtitles.
  • Audio descriptions.
  • Other accessibility adaptations.

Reasonable efforts should be made to preserve the substance and meaning of the original communication when preparing these versions.

Editorial Review Remains a Human Responsibility

Technology may help us work faster. Automation may help us remain organized. Artificial intelligence may help us discover meaningful moments within hours of conversation. But none of those tools remove Kingdom Keys' responsibility to exercise human judgment.

Technology May Help Prepare the Story. People Remain Responsible for Stewarding It.

Our Editing Standard

The goal of editing is not to manufacture a more impressive person than the one who sat with us.

Nor is it to manufacture a more controversial one.

It is to help others encounter the story clearly, meaningfully, and responsibly.

Refine the Presentation. Preserve the Meaning. Honor the Person.
The finished story may be edited—but it should still allow people to meet you.

Publication & Distribution of Your Story

Allowing Others to Meet You

The purpose of recording a Meet Your Neighbor conversation is to create an opportunity for other people to encounter the story.

By providing your consent under this agreement, you authorize Kingdom Keys to publish, display, transmit, distribute, reproduce, and make available authorized Meet Your Neighbor material created from your participation, subject to the terms of this agreement.

This permission allows the conversation to move beyond the place where we originally sat together.

Where Meet Your Neighbor May Appear

Your authorized Meet Your Neighbor material may be published or distributed through Kingdom Keys-owned, operated, managed, or approved environments and channels.

Depending upon the story, format, and editorial purpose, these may include:

  • The Kingdom Keys Campus and websites.
  • The Meet Your Neighbor Experience and Archive.
  • Your Neighbor Profile.
  • Kingdom Keys TV.
  • Kingdom Keys Radio.
  • Kingdom Keys publications and newsletters.
  • Kingdom Keys social media channels.
  • Kingdom Keys video and audio channels.
  • Kingdom Keys community and educational environments.
  • Kingdom Keys events, presentations, or gatherings.
  • Approved streaming, podcast, broadcast, or media platforms.
  • Promotional materials directly related to Meet Your Neighbor or Kingdom Keys.
  • Other Kingdom Keys media environments reasonably connected to the purposes described in this agreement.

Not every conversation will appear in every environment.

Kingdom Keys retains editorial discretion concerning which authorized channels and formats are appropriate for a particular story.

Reaching People Beyond Kingdom Keys-Owned Platforms

Some Kingdom Keys content may be distributed through third-party services.

For example, a Meet Your Neighbor video might appear on an approved social media or video platform. An audio conversation might be distributed through a podcast or streaming service. A remote event might use a third-party meeting or broadcasting platform. A Kingdom Keys publication might contain a link or embedded media hosted elsewhere.

You authorize Kingdom Keys to use appropriate third-party distribution and technology services when reasonably necessary to publish or distribute authorized Meet Your Neighbor material.

Those services may operate under their own terms, privacy practices, technical systems, and platform rules.

The Story May Travel Across Distance

Meet Your Neighbor may begin locally, but it is not intended to remain limited by geography.

A conversation recorded in one community may be encountered by someone across the country. Or across the world.

Kingdom Keys may make authorized material available to audiences without geographic limitation where the selected distribution channel permits it.

This allows the experience to grow from:

Meet Your Neighbor to Meet Our Neighbors.

Different communities. Different professions. Different cultures. Different countries. Different stories. Still people meeting people.

Different Platforms Require Different Formats

A full conversation that works beautifully within the Meet Your Neighbor Experience may not be appropriate in its original form for every distribution channel.

Kingdom Keys may therefore prepare authorized material in formats reasonably suited to the platform or audience.

This may include:

  • Full-length video.
  • Short-form video.
  • Vertical or horizontal versions.
  • Audio-only presentations.
  • Podcast-style episodes.
  • Written features.
  • Quotations.
  • Transcripts.
  • Captioned or subtitled versions.
  • Social media excerpts.
  • Promotional previews.
  • Thumbnails and cover images.
  • Other reasonable adaptations consistent with the permissions granted in this agreement.

The editing and integrity standards described elsewhere in this agreement continue to apply to these adaptations.

Current Platforms May Change

Technology changes.

The platforms people use today may not be the platforms people use years from now.

For that reason, your authorization is not limited only to technology or platform names that exist on the date you sign this agreement.

Kingdom Keys may use future or successor technologies and distribution methods that are reasonably equivalent to the types of publication and distribution described here.

This provision is intended to allow normal technological evolution.

It is not intended to transform your consent into permission for unrelated uses that a reasonable participant would not understand to be connected to this agreement.

Meet Your Neighbor May Become Part of a Larger Kingdom Keys Story

Sometimes an individual conversation may appropriately become part of a larger Kingdom Keys production.

For example, authorized portions of Meet Your Neighbor conversations might be included in:

  • A community story.
  • A documentary-style production.
  • A Kingdom Keys TV feature.
  • A compilation of Neighbor stories.
  • A teaching or educational presentation.
  • A Kingdom Keys event.
  • A retrospective or anniversary presentation.
  • A story illustrating the growth or impact of Meet Your Neighbor.
  • Another Kingdom Keys production meaningfully connected to the purpose for which the material was originally created.

Such use should remain consistent with the permissions and integrity commitments established in this agreement.

Promotional Use

Kingdom Keys may use authorized portions of your Meet Your Neighbor participation to help people discover the conversation or the Meet Your Neighbor initiative.

This might include a:

“Meet Our Newest Neighbor” preview.

A short quotation. A thumbnail. A brief video excerpt. A photograph. A Kingdom Keys TV preview. A social media post. Or another reasonable promotional expression connected to Meet Your Neighbor or Kingdom Keys.

This permission does not mean that your likeness may be used without limitation to advertise unrelated third-party products, services, political campaigns, or commercial ventures.

Any materially different endorsement or unrelated commercial use may require separate permission.

Publication Does Not Guarantee Promotion

Kingdom Keys may publish a conversation without undertaking a particular level of promotion.

Participation does not guarantee:

  • Featured placement.
  • A specific publication date.
  • A particular number of posts.
  • Paid advertising.
  • A particular audience size.
  • A particular number of views or listens.
  • Continued prominence within the Meet Your Neighbor Experience.
  • Business leads, customers, partnerships, or other outcomes.

Our commitment is to steward the story responsibly—not promise a particular level of exposure.

Publication May Continue Over Time

Authorized Meet Your Neighbor material may remain available within Kingdom Keys archives, libraries, media channels, or other approved environments after its initial publication.

A Neighbor story does not necessarily expire when it is no longer the current featured conversation.

That continuing availability allows future visitors to enter the Meet Your Neighbor Archive and discover people whose conversations were recorded before they arrived.

The duration of the permissions granted under this agreement, as well as procedures concerning later concerns or requests, will be addressed more specifically in a later section.

A New Use May Require a New Conversation With You

This agreement is intended to provide Kingdom Keys with meaningful flexibility to steward and distribute Meet Your Neighbor content.

It is not intended to make every imaginable future use automatically permissible.

If Kingdom Keys wishes to use your identity, likeness, voice, or recorded participation for a materially different purpose outside the reasonable scope of this agreement, we may seek additional permission where appropriate.

That distinction matters.

Permission Should Be Broad Enough to Steward the Story—But Clear Enough to Respect the Person.

From One Conversation to Many Encounters

You may sit with us once.

But through responsible publication, people you may never personally meet can still encounter something from your journey.

A lesson. A laugh. A challenge you overcame. A business you built. A gift you discovered. A truth you learned. A piece of wisdom you carried. Or simply another human being whose life looks different from theirs—and yet feels surprisingly familiar.

One Conversation. Many Possible Encounters.
That is the permission publication makes possible.

Your Neighbor Profile & Materials You Provide

Creating a Place for Your Story

A published Meet Your Neighbor conversation may be accompanied by a Neighbor Profile within the Meet Your Neighbor Experience.

Your Neighbor Profile provides visitors with a simple way to learn a little more about the person they have just encountered.

Depending upon what is appropriate for your story, the profile may include information such as:

  • Your name or approved public name.
  • An approved photograph or image.
  • A brief biography or introduction.
  • Your profession or area of work.
  • Your business, ministry, organization, project, or community involvement.
  • General geographic information, when appropriate.
  • Themes or highlights from your conversation.
  • Approved quotations or excerpts.
  • Your featured Meet Your Neighbor conversation.
  • Approved public websites or social media links.
  • Other information reasonably connected to your story.

Not every Neighbor Profile will contain every element.

The goal is not to create a comprehensive public record about you.

The Goal Is Simply to Help People Meet the Person.

Information You Provide for Your Profile

As part of the preparation or publication process, Kingdom Keys may ask you to provide information specifically for consideration within your Neighbor Profile.

You authorize Kingdom Keys to review, edit for reasonable length, clarity, formatting, accuracy, and presentation, and publish the information you knowingly provide or approve for public profile use.

For example, you may provide a biography that is longer than the space available.

Kingdom Keys may prepare a shorter version while seeking to preserve the substance of what you provided.

Likewise, spelling, punctuation, formatting, or other presentation elements may be adjusted as reasonably necessary.

Public Information Should Be Clearly Identified

Information provided privately to coordinate your participation is not automatically Neighbor Profile information.

Your private scheduling email address should not become public simply because Kingdom Keys possesses it.

Your telephone number should not become a profile contact number unless it was intentionally provided and approved for that purpose.

Preparation responses should not automatically become profile copy merely because they helped us understand your story.

Where practical, Kingdom Keys should distinguish between:

Information Provided to Help Us Prepare

and

Information Approved for Public Display.

That distinction helps protect both clarity and privacy.

Photographs & Images

You may be invited to provide photographs or images for possible use in connection with your Neighbor Profile or Meet Your Neighbor story.

These might include:

  • A portrait or headshot.
  • A photograph of your business.
  • Images of your work.
  • Historical photographs.
  • Family photographs when appropriate.
  • Project or organization images.
  • Other visual materials connected to your story.

By intentionally submitting material for publication, you represent that you either own the relevant rights or have sufficient authority to permit Kingdom Keys to use the material for the purposes you approve.

If ownership or permission is uncertain, please tell us.

Kingdom Keys may decide not to use submitted material when rights, privacy, safety, quality, relevance, or other concerns exist.

Your Materials Remain Your Materials

Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, providing material to Kingdom Keys does not transfer ownership of that material to Kingdom Keys.

Instead, when you intentionally provide or approve material for use in Meet Your Neighbor, you grant Kingdom Keys permission to use, reproduce, edit as reasonably necessary for presentation, display, publish, distribute, and preserve that material as part of the authorized Meet Your Neighbor uses described in this agreement.

Permission to Use Is Not the Same as Transfer of Ownership.

For example:

If you own a photograph and authorize us to use it in your Neighbor Profile, the photograph does not become Kingdom Keys property merely because it appears there.

You retain whatever ownership rights you otherwise hold.

Kingdom Keys receives the permission necessary to use the authorized material within the scope of this agreement.

Materials Created by Kingdom Keys

Kingdom Keys may also create original production materials in connection with your participation.

These might include:

  • Photographs taken by Kingdom Keys.
  • Recorded video and audio.
  • Edited productions.
  • Graphics.
  • Thumbnails.
  • Titles.
  • Introductions.
  • Written summaries.
  • Transcripts or captions.
  • Promotional materials.
  • Neighbor Profile layouts.
  • Other original production elements.

Ownership and use of Kingdom Keys-created production materials may differ from ownership of materials you bring or provide.

Your underlying life experiences remain yours.

Your pre-existing materials remain subject to your existing rights.

And Kingdom Keys retains its applicable rights in the original media and production materials it creates, subject to this agreement and applicable law.

Business, Ministry, Organization & Project Information

If your work is part of your story, you may provide appropriate public information about it.

Kingdom Keys may consider including information such as:

Business: Jackson Family Bakery Role: Founder Website: Approved public website Community Contribution: Local youth culinary program

The purpose is to help viewers understand what you do and, where appropriate, discover more.

It is not intended to transform the Neighbor Profile into an advertisement.

Kingdom Keys retains editorial discretion over the amount, presentation, and inclusion of business, professional, ministry, organization, or project information.

Logos, Trademarks & Branded Materials

A guest may sometimes provide a business logo, organization name, trademark, product image, or other branded material.

You should provide such materials only when you have appropriate authority to authorize their use.

Kingdom Keys may use approved branded material when reasonably connected to identifying or explaining your work within the Meet Your Neighbor story.

Such use does not transfer ownership of the brand to Kingdom Keys.

Likewise, the appearance of a brand within Meet Your Neighbor does not necessarily mean that the brand sponsors, endorses, or is formally partnered with Kingdom Keys.

External Links

Where appropriate, your Neighbor Profile may include links you have approved for public display.

These may include:

  • A business website.
  • Organization or ministry website.
  • Professional profile.
  • Creative portfolio.
  • Project page.
  • Approved public social media profile.
  • Other appropriate public resources.

Kingdom Keys may review, decline, update, or remove external links when reasonably necessary for safety, accuracy, relevance, integrity, or consistency with Kingdom Keys standards.

The presence of a link does not necessarily constitute Kingdom Keys endorsement of everything available through the external destination.

Information Can Change

A Neighbor Profile may remain available long after the original conversation.

If public information changes, you may contact Kingdom Keys and request review.

For example:

Your business may move. Your professional role may change. A website may be replaced. A social account may close. An organization may change names. A project may end.

Kingdom Keys may update appropriate profile information while preserving the historical integrity of the original conversation.

We May Decline Materials

Even when you have permission to provide something, Kingdom Keys is not obligated to publish it.

Kingdom Keys may decline or remove guest-provided material because of:

  • Copyright or ownership concerns.
  • Privacy concerns.
  • Safety considerations.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Relevance.
  • Technical quality.
  • Accuracy.
  • Editorial considerations.
  • Commercial or promotional concerns.
  • Third-party rights.
  • Mission or integrity concerns.
  • Other reasonable considerations.

This editorial discretion helps us maintain a consistent and responsibly stewarded Meet Your Neighbor experience.

The Profile Serves the Person—Not the Other Way Around

We do not need every available fact. Every photograph. Every accomplishment. Every link. Or every credential.

We need enough to help someone who has encountered your conversation say:

“Now I Know a Little More About My Neighbor.”

Your profile should remain an invitation to connection rather than a collection of data.

Share What Helps Tell the Story. Protect What Does Not Need to Be Shared.
Because a Neighbor Profile should help people discover you without asking you to surrender everything about you.

Clips, Excerpts, Quotations & Promotional Use

Sometimes One Moment Carries a Message of Its Own

A Meet Your Neighbor conversation may contain many stories, ideas, lessons, reflections, and memorable moments.

While the full conversation allows people to encounter your story in greater depth, a shorter moment may sometimes stand meaningfully on its own.

A sentence may encourage someone. A story may make someone laugh. A lesson may help another person. A brief reflection may cause someone to stop and think.

For that reason, you authorize Kingdom Keys to create and use reasonable excerpts from your authorized Meet Your Neighbor participation in accordance with this agreement.

What an Excerpt May Become

Kingdom Keys may prepare authorized portions of your conversation as:

  • Short-form videos.
  • Social media clips.
  • Audio excerpts.
  • Radio segments.
  • Video previews.
  • Quotations.
  • Written excerpts.
  • Graphics containing quotations.
  • Story highlights.
  • Promotional trailers.
  • Thumbnails or preview materials.
  • Newsletter or publication features.
  • Other reasonable short-form expressions derived from your participation.

These materials may be used to share a meaningful part of your story or invite people to experience the larger Meet Your Neighbor conversation.

A Shorter Format Still Deserves Context

Short-form media naturally removes some of the surrounding conversation.

That makes editorial judgment especially important.

Kingdom Keys should not intentionally select, edit, caption, title, or present an excerpt in a manner designed to materially misrepresent what you communicated.

Where a short excerpt could reasonably create a materially misleading impression without additional context, Kingdom Keys should consider providing appropriate context, selecting a different portion, or directing viewers to the fuller conversation.

Shorter Does Not Mean Careless.

The integrity commitments established elsewhere in this agreement continue to apply even when the final piece lasts only a few seconds.

Quotations

Kingdom Keys may quote statements you make during your recorded participation in authorized Meet Your Neighbor materials.

Quotations may appear in places such as:

  • Your Neighbor Profile.
  • Meet Your Neighbor promotional materials.
  • Kingdom Keys publications.
  • Social media.
  • Kingdom Keys TV or Radio materials.
  • Graphics.
  • Newsletters.
  • Story summaries.
  • Other authorized Kingdom Keys environments.

Kingdom Keys may make minor edits to quotations for punctuation, obvious verbal fillers, or readability where doing so does not materially alter the meaning.

If a statement must be substantially rewritten to communicate something different from what was actually said, it should not ordinarily be presented as though it were your direct quotation.

Titles, Headlines & Descriptions

Kingdom Keys may create titles, headlines, captions, descriptions, introductions, and other editorial language to help audiences understand or discover your story.

For example, a conversation might be introduced as:

Meet Robert — The Barber Who Turned His Shop Into a Place of Mentorship

or

“Someone Believed in Me Before I Believed in Myself.”

These editorial elements may highlight an important theme from the conversation.

They should not intentionally manufacture a false identity, accomplishment, controversy, belief, or claim simply to attract attention.

We Want Curiosity Without Clickbait That Betrays the Story.

Promoting Your Meet Your Neighbor Story

Kingdom Keys may use authorized portions of your participation to promote:

  • Your published Neighbor Profile.
  • Your Meet Your Neighbor conversation.
  • The Meet Your Neighbor Experience.
  • A collection or series containing your story.
  • A Kingdom Keys program or production in which your authorized story appears.
  • The broader Kingdom Keys initiative when your participation is meaningfully connected to that presentation.

For example, Kingdom Keys might publish:

This Week, Meet One of Our Neighbors...

followed by your photograph, name, a short excerpt, and a link to the full conversation.

That is considered promotion of the story and experience contemplated by this agreement.

Promotion Is Not Automatic Personal Endorsement

There is an important boundary.

Your participation does not automatically authorize Kingdom Keys to make it appear that you personally endorse every Kingdom Keys teaching, program, product, fundraising initiative, commercial relationship, political position, or third-party service.

For example, using an authorized Meet Your Neighbor clip to invite people to watch your conversation is materially different from placing your image beside an unrelated product with the statement:

“Robert recommends this product.”

when Robert never made such an endorsement.

A materially different use that creates or implies a personal endorsement you did not actually provide may require additional permission.

Kingdom Keys May Promote the Initiative

Authorized Meet Your Neighbor material may also appear in reasonable presentations explaining or promoting the Meet Your Neighbor initiative itself.

For example, a future introduction to the experience might include brief moments from several Neighbor conversations while explaining:

Different Lives. Different Stories. One Human Family.

Your authorized appearance within such a presentation may help future visitors understand what Meet Your Neighbor is.

This is different from implying that you endorse an unrelated third party or proposition.

Social Media & Sharing

Short-form content may be distributed through approved Kingdom Keys social media channels and other appropriate platforms.

Once material is publicly available, viewers may sometimes use platform features to share, repost, link to, comment upon, or otherwise interact with it.

Kingdom Keys cannot completely control how independent viewers respond to or redistribute publicly available material.

Kingdom Keys may nevertheless take reasonable action concerning uses within its control when significant safety, privacy, impersonation, copyright, or other concerns arise.

Platform Adaptation

Different platforms may require different presentation formats.

Kingdom Keys may reasonably adapt authorized excerpts by:

  • Changing aspect ratio.
  • Cropping or reframing.
  • Adding captions.
  • Adding subtitles.
  • Adding titles or graphics.
  • Adjusting audio.
  • Adding approved music or narration.
  • Creating thumbnails.
  • Shortening material.
  • Formatting text.
  • Adding Kingdom Keys or Meet Your Neighbor identification.
  • Providing links or calls to experience the full story.

These changes should remain subject to the editorial integrity commitments established in this agreement.

AI May Help Us Discover Moments—But It Does Not Decide Who You Are

Kingdom Keys Intelligence may assist our production team by identifying possible clips, quotations, themes, or moments within a longer conversation.

For example, Intelligence might suggest:

Potential theme: perseverance after business failure.

Potential excerpt: 01:14:32–01:15:18.

Potential Neighbor Profile quotation.

Those are suggestions for human review.

They are not automatic publication decisions.

Intelligence May Discover the Moment. Human Stewardship Decides Whether and How It Should Be Shared.

One Moment Can Open the Door to the Whole Story

Someone may first encounter you through a 30-second clip. Then watch a five-minute feature. Then enter your Neighbor Profile. Then listen to the full conversation. Then discover your business, organization, project, or contribution to the community.

The short expression can become the doorway.

But the goal remains the same:

Not Simply to Capture Attention—but to Create Encounter.
A small moment may introduce the neighbor. The fuller story allows us to meet them.

Your Story, Our Production & Compensation

Your Story Remains Your Story

Your life belongs to you.

Your experiences. Your memories. Your perspectives. Your ideas. Your lessons. Your accomplishments. Your challenges.

And the underlying facts of your life do not become the property of Kingdom Keys simply because you share them during a Meet Your Neighbor conversation.

Nothing in this agreement prevents you from telling your own story elsewhere, discussing the same experiences with others, writing about your life, creating your own media, or otherwise continuing to express your experiences.

You Are Giving Us Permission to Share a Conversation—Not Ownership of Who You Are.

The Meet Your Neighbor Production

Kingdom Keys invests its own creative, technical, editorial, and production work into transforming a recorded conversation into a finished Meet Your Neighbor experience.

That work may include:

  • Video and audio recordings created by Kingdom Keys.
  • Photography created by Kingdom Keys.
  • Editing.
  • Graphics.
  • Titles and introductions.
  • Music and sound design.
  • Narration.
  • Written summaries.
  • Transcripts and captions.
  • Neighbor Profile design.
  • Thumbnails.
  • Promotional materials.
  • Compilation productions.
  • Other original creative and production elements.

Except where another written agreement provides otherwise, Kingdom Keys retains its applicable ownership rights in the original recordings and production materials it creates, subject to the permissions, commitments, and limitations established in this agreement and applicable law.

This does not transfer ownership of your underlying life story to Kingdom Keys.

Materials You Already Own

Materials you owned before providing them to Kingdom Keys remain subject to your existing ownership rights.

For example, if you provide:

A photograph you own. A book you wrote. Artwork you created. A business logo you are authorized to use. Or another pre-existing work you have authority to provide.

You do not automatically transfer ownership of that material to Kingdom Keys.

Instead, you grant Kingdom Keys the permission reasonably necessary to use the approved material within the authorized Meet Your Neighbor purposes described in this agreement.

Participation Is Generally Unpaid

Unless Kingdom Keys and the guest enter into a separate written agreement stating otherwise, participation in Meet Your Neighbor is voluntary and does not entitle the guest to payment, royalties, residuals, licensing fees, revenue sharing, or other compensation arising from the authorized recording, editing, publication, distribution, promotion, or continued availability of the Meet Your Neighbor production.

This includes situations in which authorized content appears through a Kingdom Keys environment that generates revenue or supports the larger Kingdom Keys initiative.

The purpose of Meet Your Neighbor participation is the sharing and stewardship of stories—not the creation of an employment or royalty relationship.

A Story May Appear Within a Revenue-Supported Environment

Kingdom Keys may operate websites, media channels, publications, experiences, memberships, educational environments, stores, or other parts of the Kingdom Keys Campus that include paid resources, donations, sponsorships, subscriptions, commerce, or other forms of financial support.

Authorized Meet Your Neighbor material may appear within or alongside such Kingdom Keys environments.

The presence of your story within a revenue-supported Kingdom Keys environment does not, by itself, create a right to compensation or revenue sharing.

Kingdom Keys May Promote Its Own Resources

Kingdom Keys may display information about its own programs, teachings, courses, publications, books, media, products, events, experiences, stewardship opportunities, or other Kingdom Keys resources within the Meet Your Neighbor environment.

Such promotional material should be reasonably distinguishable from the Neighbor's story or profile.

The Presence of a Kingdom Keys Promotion Near Your Story Does Not Mean You Endorse That Resource.

Kingdom Keys should not intentionally use your name, image, voice, likeness, or statements to create the appearance that you personally endorse a particular Kingdom Keys product, service, program, fundraising initiative, or other offering when you have not provided such an endorsement.

A materially different use that relies upon your identity as a personal endorsement may require separate permission.

Your Business May Benefit From the Exposure

A Meet Your Neighbor story may introduce viewers to your business, ministry, organization, profession, creative work, community project, or another endeavor.

Someone may visit your website. Become a customer. Attend an event. Support your organization. Contact your business. Discover your work. Or pursue another opportunity because they encountered your Neighbor Profile.

Kingdom Keys does not claim a right to compensation merely because an authentic Meet Your Neighbor story helped someone discover you, unless a separate agreement establishes a different relationship.

Likewise, Kingdom Keys does not guarantee that participation will produce any particular business, financial, professional, social, or promotional outcome.

Participation Does Not Create a Partnership

Participation in Meet Your Neighbor does not, by itself, create:

  • Employment.
  • A joint venture.
  • A legal partnership.
  • An agency relationship.
  • A sponsorship.
  • A business partnership.
  • A Kingdom Keys membership.
  • A ministry affiliation.
  • An endorsement relationship.
  • A financial obligation.
  • A representative relationship.
  • Authority for either party to act on behalf of the other.

If a different relationship later develops between you and Kingdom Keys, it should be established separately and clearly.

Conversation Can Create Connection Without Automatically Creating Contractual Partnership.

Support for Kingdom Keys Does Not Purchase a Story

A guest may also happen to be a Kingdom Keys supporter, donor, customer, volunteer, partner, member, or participant in another part of the Campus.

Those relationships should not automatically determine Meet Your Neighbor editorial decisions.

Financial support does not guarantee:

  • Selection as a guest.
  • Publication.
  • Favorable editing.
  • Featured placement.
  • Additional promotion.
  • A particular Neighbor Profile.
  • Continued availability.
  • A particular audience response.

Likewise, declining to financially support Kingdom Keys should not by itself disqualify an otherwise appropriate person from consideration.

Stories Are Not for Sale.

Separate Commercial Arrangements Remain Separate

There may eventually be circumstances in which Kingdom Keys and a Meet Your Neighbor guest choose to enter into another relationship.

For example:

A guest might later become a speaker. Instructor. Author. Creative collaborator. Vendor. Sponsor. Consultant. Kingdom Builders Society participant. Or partner in another Kingdom Keys initiative.

Those relationships are separate from the guest's original Meet Your Neighbor participation and may require their own agreements, permissions, compensation terms, or governance processes.

The Meet Your Neighbor release should not be used as a substitute for those agreements.

The Exchange Is the Opportunity to Encounter One Another

Meet Your Neighbor is not built upon the promise:

“Give us your story and we will make you famous.”

Nor:

“Give us your story and we will pay you for access to it.”

The invitation is something simpler.

Sit with us. Allow us to meet you. Share what you are comfortable sharing. And allow that conversation to become an opportunity for others to encounter something from your journey.

Your Story Remains Yours.
The Production Becomes Something We Steward Together Under This Agreement.
And the value of the encounter cannot always be measured in dollars, views, or transactions.

Duration of Permission, Changes & Withdrawal

Understanding How Long Your Permission Continues

A Meet Your Neighbor conversation may continue to have value long after the day it was recorded.

Someone may discover your story next week. Next year. Or years after the original conversation.

For that reason, unless this agreement or a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, the permissions you grant for authorized Meet Your Neighbor material are intended to continue without a predetermined expiration date, subject to applicable law and the terms described below.

This allows Kingdom Keys to maintain the Meet Your Neighbor Archive and continue making previously authorized stories available over time.

Your Consent Matters Before We Record

Before recording intended for publication begins, you should have an opportunity to review this agreement, ask questions, and decide whether you wish to participate.

If you decide not to participate before recording begins, tell us.

You are not required to proceed simply because:

You accepted an invitation. Completed preparation questions. Arrived at the studio. Joined a remote session. Or previously told us that you intended to participate.

Until We Begin the Authorized Recording, You May Decide Not to Proceed.

After Recording but Before Publication

Once an authorized recording has been created, Kingdom Keys may begin investing time and resources in editing, production, transcription, profile development, graphics, distribution preparation, and other work.

If you develop a significant concern after recording but before publication, please contact Kingdom Keys as soon as reasonably possible.

We will consider the concern in light of:

  • The nature of the request.
  • The permissions already granted.
  • Privacy considerations.
  • Safety concerns.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Third-party rights.
  • Editorial integrity.
  • Production work already completed.
  • Legal obligations.
  • Other relevant circumstances.

Kingdom Keys may determine that correction, editing, additional context, delayed publication, restriction, or non-publication is appropriate.

However, signing this agreement does not create an unconditional right to withdraw all previously granted permissions merely because a guest later changes their mind, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

After Publication

Once authorized material has been published or distributed, complete withdrawal becomes more complicated.

Kingdom Keys may be able to remove material from environments it directly controls.

However, published material may also have been:

  • Shared by viewers.
  • Reposted.
  • Embedded elsewhere.
  • Indexed by search services.
  • Cached.
  • Downloaded where a platform permits it.
  • Distributed through third-party services.
  • Incorporated into previously published Kingdom Keys productions.

Kingdom Keys cannot guarantee that every copy or reference can be retrieved or erased once material has entered public distribution.

You May Still Raise a Concern

Durable permission does not mean that Kingdom Keys should ignore legitimate concerns.

You may contact Kingdom Keys if you believe authorized material creates a significant issue involving:

  • Material factual error.
  • Privacy.
  • Personal safety.
  • Confidential information.
  • Misrepresentation.
  • Unauthorized third-party material.
  • Changed circumstances creating substantial concern.
  • Other serious issues affecting responsible stewardship.

Kingdom Keys will consider such concerns according to this agreement and the applicable Corrections, Updates & Removal Policy.

Permission Gives Us Rights. Stewardship Still Requires Judgment.

Correction May Be Better Than Removal

Not every concern requires removing an entire conversation.

Sometimes the responsible response may be to:

Correct a factual error. Update a Neighbor Profile. Remove an outdated link. Edit sensitive information. Add appropriate context. Restrict a particular excerpt. Replace a defective media file. Clarify when the original conversation occurred. Or add a later update explaining what has changed.

Kingdom Keys may determine which reasonable response is appropriate based upon the circumstances and rights involved.

A Historical Conversation May Remain Historical

People grow. Views change. Businesses close. Careers develop. Relationships change. Understanding deepens.

A statement honestly made during a conversation in 2026 may not necessarily represent everything a person believes ten years later.

That does not automatically make the historical conversation false.

Where appropriate, Kingdom Keys may preserve the original story while adding context such as:

Recorded August 2026

or

Neighbor Update — 2030

This allows the archive to honor both history and growth.

Removal From Kingdom Keys-Controlled Environments

Kingdom Keys may choose, in its discretion or where required by law, to remove, restrict, unpublish, or cease actively distributing material from environments under its control.

Doing so does not necessarily revoke the underlying permissions previously granted under this agreement, nor does it guarantee removal from third-party systems or copies outside Kingdom Keys' reasonable control.

Kingdom Keys may also retain appropriate archival, administrative, legal, compliance, or internal records where reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

Kingdom Keys May Also Discontinue a Story

The guest is not the only party whose circumstances may change.

Kingdom Keys may decide to discontinue, archive, restrict, update, or remove Meet Your Neighbor material because of:

  • Privacy concerns.
  • Safety concerns.
  • Legal requirements.
  • Editorial considerations.
  • New information.
  • Rights issues.
  • Technical changes.
  • Platform changes.
  • Mission or integrity concerns.
  • Discontinuation or restructuring of the Meet Your Neighbor experience.
  • Other reasonable stewardship considerations.

Publication does not create an obligation for Kingdom Keys to keep a particular story publicly available forever.

Previously Created Productions

If authorized portions of your participation have already been incorporated into a larger completed Kingdom Keys production—such as a documentary, compilation, retrospective, teaching, broadcast, or other authorized media work—Kingdom Keys may have legitimate reasons to preserve that completed production even if the standalone Neighbor Profile is later changed or removed.

Requests involving previously completed productions will be evaluated according to the circumstances, applicable agreements, law, third-party rights, technical feasibility, and responsible stewardship.

New Uses Remain Subject to the Scope of Your Permission

Continuing permission does not mean Kingdom Keys receives unlimited authority to invent entirely unrelated future uses of your identity.

The permissions remain connected to the purposes reasonably described in this agreement.

As established earlier, if Kingdom Keys later wishes to use your identity, voice, likeness, or participation for a materially different purpose outside the reasonable scope of this agreement, additional permission may be appropriate.

Duration Does Not Erase Boundaries.

We Want Concerns Communicated

If something significant changes, tell us.

A durable media agreement should provide Kingdom Keys with the stability necessary to create and preserve meaningful work.

But stability should not become indifference.

There may be circumstances in which the technically available right and the wisely exercised choice are not exactly the same.

That is where stewardship matters.

Rights Establish What May Be Done. Wisdom Helps Determine What Should Be Done.
Our goal is to preserve meaningful stories without forgetting the people whose lives continue beyond the recording.

What You Confirm When You Participate

Your Agreement Is Based on Good Faith

Meet Your Neighbor depends upon trust in both directions.

Kingdom Keys makes commitments concerning how we will approach, record, edit, publish, and steward your participation.

In return, we ask you to participate honestly and to provide information and materials you reasonably believe you have the right to share.

By signing this agreement, you make the following representations to Kingdom Keys to the best of your knowledge and ability.

You Are Participating Voluntarily

You confirm that you are choosing to participate in Meet Your Neighbor voluntarily.

You have had an opportunity to review this agreement and ask questions before signing.

You understand that participation may involve recording and public distribution as described throughout this agreement.

You are not relying upon a promise of payment, fame, business results, employment, partnership, or any other outcome that is not expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

You Have Authority to Give This Consent

You confirm that you have the legal capacity and authority necessary to enter into this agreement for your own participation.

If you are not legally able to provide the required consent yourself, please notify Kingdom Keys before proceeding.

Participation involving minors or others who require legally authorized consent will follow the applicable specialized Kingdom Keys process.

Please Do Not Sign an Agreement You Do Not Have Authority to Make.

The Information You Provide Should Be Truthful

You agree to make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information when presenting factual matters about yourself, your work, your organization, or other subjects relevant to your participation.

We understand that people can:

Remember events differently. Make honest mistakes. Have different interpretations of an experience. Or discover later that something they believed was accurate was incomplete.

This provision is not intended to require perfect memory.

It asks for good-faith honesty.

You should not knowingly provide materially false or deceptive information for publication through Meet Your Neighbor.

Your Opinions Are Your Own

You may express personal beliefs, perspectives, interpretations, experiences, and opinions during your conversation.

When appropriate, please distinguish between:

What you personally believe or experienced

and

what you are presenting as an established fact about someone else.

Kingdom Keys may request clarification or supporting information when a significant factual claim raises editorial, legal, privacy, safety, or integrity concerns.

You Have Appropriate Rights to Materials You Provide

If you intentionally provide photographs, artwork, video, audio, written material, logos, graphics, music, documents, or other materials for Kingdom Keys to publish, you confirm that you reasonably believe you:

  • Own the relevant material;
  • Have permission from the appropriate rights holder;
  • Have authority to authorize the requested use; or
  • Have informed Kingdom Keys that ownership or permission requires additional review.

Please do not knowingly provide material for publication that you know you do not have the right to authorize.

If You Are Unsure, Tell Us.

Uncertainty does not automatically mean we cannot use something.

It simply means we may need to determine whether additional permission or another lawful basis is required.

Other People's Privacy Still Matters

Your participation gives you an opportunity to tell your story.

It does not automatically give you authority to disclose confidential or protected information belonging to someone else.

You agree to exercise reasonable care when discussing or providing information concerning:

  • Family members.
  • Friends.
  • Employees.
  • Employers.
  • Customers.
  • Clients.
  • Patients.
  • Students.
  • Ministry participants.
  • Business partners.
  • Children.
  • Other individuals whose private information may be involved.

If you are subject to professional, contractual, ethical, legal, or other confidentiality obligations, participation in Meet Your Neighbor does not remove those responsibilities.

Businesses & Organizations

If you speak on behalf of a business, ministry, nonprofit, organization, employer, team, agency, or other entity, please make clear whether you are:

Speaking personally

or

authorized to speak officially on behalf of the organization.

Your employment, membership, ownership interest, or association with an organization does not necessarily give you authority to make official statements for it.

Kingdom Keys may identify statements as personal views when appropriate.

Claims About Other People

Stories sometimes involve disagreement, conflict, harm, or difficult experiences with other people.

You may speak honestly about your experiences.

However, you should not knowingly use Meet Your Neighbor to make materially false accusations, defame another person, disclose information you are legally prohibited from sharing, or intentionally mislead viewers about another person's conduct.

Kingdom Keys may edit, omit, investigate, request clarification concerning, or decline to publish claims that create significant legal, privacy, safety, fairness, or integrity concerns.

Locations & Property

If you invite Kingdom Keys to record at a business, workplace, organization, residence, event, or other property, you should tell us if you do not have authority to authorize recording at that location.

Additional permission may be required from:

A property owner. Employer. Organization. Event operator. Tenant. Venue. Or another person with appropriate authority.

Your appearance release does not automatically grant Kingdom Keys rights to enter or record on property controlled by someone else.

Other People Who Appear in the Recording

If other identifiable people may intentionally participate in the production, please let Kingdom Keys know so appropriate consent or releases can be considered.

This is particularly important for minors and for individuals appearing in more than an incidental background capacity.

A guest should not promise another person's consent on their behalf unless legally authorized to do so.

Tell Us When Something Needs Clarification

We do not expect guests to be copyright attorneys, privacy specialists, media lawyers, or production experts.

If you are unsure whether something can appropriately be shared, tell us what you know.

Kingdom Keys can then determine whether the material requires:

Additional permission. Editorial review. Fact-checking. Removal of identifying information. Different framing. Additional context. Or simply leaving that part out.

Responsible Storytelling Is Easier When We Ask Before We Assume.

If Important Information Changes

If you discover before publication that information or permissions you provided were materially inaccurate, incomplete, or no longer valid, please notify Kingdom Keys as soon as reasonably possible.

This gives us an opportunity to address the issue before the story travels farther.

Good Faith Works Both Ways

These confirmations are not intended to shift every production responsibility onto the guest.

Kingdom Keys remains responsible for exercising its own editorial judgment, production standards, privacy practices, rights review, and responsible stewardship.

The guest brings good-faith honesty.

Kingdom Keys brings good-faith stewardship.

Both matter.

Share What Is Yours to Share. Tell Us When You Are Unsure. Let Integrity Guide the Conversation.
Trust works best when responsibility lives on both sides of the table.

Release, Responsibility & the Limits of Permission

What This Release Is Intended to Do

When you give Kingdom Keys permission to record, edit, publish, distribute, and otherwise use your authorized Meet Your Neighbor participation, Kingdom Keys needs to be able to exercise those permissions without later being held responsible simply for making the uses you knowingly authorized.

Subject to applicable law and the terms of this agreement, you agree not to bring claims against Kingdom Keys solely because Kingdom Keys has exercised the recording, editing, publication, distribution, promotional, archival, or other media rights you granted under this agreement.

This includes authorized use of your:

  • Name or approved public name.
  • Voice.
  • Image.
  • Likeness.
  • Appearance.
  • Recorded statements.
  • Meet Your Neighbor participation.
  • Approved biographical information.
  • Approved guest-provided materials.
  • Other authorized elements described in this agreement.

Authorized Use Is the Key

This release applies to uses that fall within the permissions established by this agreement.

It is not intended to transform your consent into unlimited authority over your identity.

Throughout this agreement, we have intentionally described:

What Kingdom Keys may record.

How the material may be edited.

Where it may be published.

How excerpts may be created.

How your Neighbor Profile may be presented.

How authorized material may be promoted and preserved.

Those boundaries matter.

Permission Should Mean What It Says.

Ordinary Editorial & Production Decisions

You understand that Kingdom Keys may make reasonable editorial and production decisions within the scope of the permissions you have granted.

For example, you may prefer one photograph while Kingdom Keys selects another authorized photograph.

You may personally prefer the full conversation while Kingdom Keys publishes a shorter version.

A particular story may not receive the title, placement, release date, promotional attention, or presentation you expected.

Provided Kingdom Keys remains within the rights granted under this agreement and applicable law, differences in reasonable creative or editorial preference do not by themselves create an obligation or liability to the guest.

Audience Reactions Cannot Be Guaranteed

Once a story becomes public, people may respond differently.

Some may be encouraged. Some may disagree. Some may misunderstand. Some may comment. Some may share the material. And some may form opinions about you based upon what they encounter.

Kingdom Keys cannot guarantee how independent viewers, listeners, readers, media platforms, or other third parties will respond to publicly available material.

Kingdom Keys is not responsible merely because another person forms an opinion or reacts to an authorized publication.

However, this does not prevent Kingdom Keys from exercising reasonable moderation or taking appropriate action concerning conduct occurring within environments we control.

Third-Party Platforms

Authorized Meet Your Neighbor material may be distributed through third-party platforms or services.

Those platforms may provide features allowing users to:

Share. Comment. Embed. Link. Repost. Recommend. Or otherwise interact with public material.

Kingdom Keys cannot completely control the independent operation, policies, users, algorithms, technical systems, or later actions of third-party platforms.

We will nevertheless make reasonable decisions about the platforms through which Kingdom Keys intentionally distributes Meet Your Neighbor material.

No Guarantee of Particular Results

Kingdom Keys does not guarantee that participation will produce:

  • A particular number of views.
  • Increased business.
  • New customers.
  • Employment.
  • Financial gain.
  • Public recognition.
  • Social media growth.
  • Professional opportunities.
  • Partnerships.
  • Media attention.
  • Community response.
  • Any other particular result.

A meaningful story may travel widely.

Another may reach a smaller audience and deeply affect only a few people.

Both can have value.

Participation should not be based upon a guaranteed outcome that Kingdom Keys has not expressly agreed to provide.

This Release Does Not Excuse Everything

Kingdom Keys believes there is an important difference between:

protecting the organization when it responsibly exercises permission that was actually granted

and

attempting to excuse conduct that should never have been authorized by the agreement in the first place.

Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Nor is this agreement intended to authorize Kingdom Keys to knowingly fabricate your statements, deliberately create a materially false endorsement, or intentionally use your identity for materially unrelated purposes outside the reasonable scope of the permissions you granted.

Other limitations may apply under applicable law.

Our Integrity Commitments Still Matter

The fact that Kingdom Keys receives legal permission to use material does not erase the editorial and stewardship commitments we have made throughout this agreement.

We still intend to:

Preserve the material meaning of your conversation. Respect communicated boundaries where applicable. Protect private information appropriately. Distinguish editorial content from personal endorsement. Exercise human oversight over significant AI-assisted production decisions. Consider legitimate corrections, safety concerns, and privacy issues. And steward the Meet Your Neighbor experience according to its stated purpose.

A Release Should Protect Responsible Stewardship—Not Replace It.

No Agreement Can Eliminate Every Risk

Public storytelling carries some unavoidable uncertainty.

Neither the guest nor Kingdom Keys can know exactly:

Who will encounter a story. What part will resonate. How long it will remain relevant. What conversations it may inspire. Or how technology and media environments may change.

This agreement establishes permissions and responsibilities so those uncertainties can be approached with greater clarity.

It cannot eliminate every possible consequence of participating in public media.

The Standard We Want to Carry Forward

Kingdom Keys should not ask:

“What can we get away with because the guest signed a release?”

The better question is:

“What did this person knowingly entrust us with, and how should we steward it?”

Likewise, the guest should be able to understand that once permission has been knowingly granted and Kingdom Keys has responsibly relied upon it to create and distribute media, those permissions carry real meaning.

Both principles can exist together.

Permission Creates Rights. Integrity Governs How We Exercise Them.
That balance is at the heart of this release.

Understanding the Agreement & Governing Terms

Bringing the Agreement Together

This Guest Media Consent & Appearance Release is intended to create a clear understanding between you and Kingdom Keys concerning your recorded participation in Meet Your Neighbor.

The sections of this agreement work together.

One section should not ordinarily be read as though the rest of the agreement does not exist.

The permissions Kingdom Keys receives are accompanied by the limitations, responsibilities, and stewardship commitments described throughout this document.

The Complete Agreement Matters

This agreement, together with any additional written terms, schedules, addenda, or permissions expressly incorporated into it, represents the understanding between you and Kingdom Keys concerning the media permissions addressed here.

Statements made casually during scheduling, preparation, conversation, email, text, or other communication should not be understood to change the legal terms of this agreement unless the change is appropriately documented and agreed upon where required.

This protects both parties from having to rely upon different memories of what someone may have said.

Important Permissions Deserve Clear Documentation.

Changes to This Agreement

If Kingdom Keys and the guest agree to materially change the permissions or obligations established by this agreement, the change should be documented in an appropriate written or electronic form.

For example, a guest and Kingdom Keys might later agree to a special use that was not reasonably contemplated by the original release.

Rather than assuming the original agreement covers everything, the additional permission may be documented separately.

This helps preserve clarity over time.

Additional Permissions May Supplement This Agreement

Certain circumstances may require additional permissions.

These might include:

  • Specialized third-party materials.
  • A materially different commercial use.
  • A new personal endorsement.
  • Participation in another Kingdom Keys production outside the reasonable scope of this agreement.
  • Additional licensing arrangements.
  • A later collaboration.
  • Other uses requiring separate authorization.

An additional agreement does not necessarily replace this release unless the new agreement expressly says that it does.

The documents may work together.

If One Provision Cannot Be Enforced

If a court or other authority with appropriate jurisdiction determines that a particular provision of this agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to operate to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where legally appropriate, an invalid or unenforceable provision may be interpreted or limited as necessary to reflect its lawful purpose without unnecessarily invalidating the remainder of the agreement.

In simpler terms:

One Problem Should Not Automatically Erase the Entire Agreement.

No Waiver by Silence or Delay

If either Kingdom Keys or the guest does not immediately exercise a right available under this agreement, that does not necessarily mean the right has been permanently surrendered.

Likewise, addressing one situation in a particular way does not automatically require every future situation to be handled identically when the facts are materially different.

Any waiver that is legally required to be documented should be handled in an appropriate written form.

Electronic Records & Signatures

Where legally permitted, this agreement may be reviewed, acknowledged, accepted, and signed electronically.

An electronic signature, digital acknowledgment, or other legally recognized electronic method may be treated as an original signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Kingdom Keys may maintain an electronic record of:

  • The agreement presented to the guest.
  • The version of the agreement accepted.
  • The guest's name.
  • The date of acceptance.
  • The electronic signature or acknowledgment.
  • Other appropriate consent records.

This allows the Meet Your Neighbor participation workflow to remain organized while preserving an appropriate record of consent.

Keep the Version That Was Agreed To

Kingdom Keys may improve or update its governance documents over time.

However, when practical and appropriate, our records should allow us to determine which version of the Guest Media Consent & Appearance Release a particular guest actually accepted.

A future revision to the public agreement should not silently rewrite the historical agreement stored for an earlier participant.

If materially new permissions are needed from an existing guest, Kingdom Keys should determine whether additional consent is appropriate rather than assuming that a later website update automatically grants those rights.

Good Governance Remembers What Was Actually Agreed To.

Headings Help You Read the Agreement

Section titles, subtitles, summaries, examples, and formatting are included to make this agreement easier to understand.

They help organize the document but should be read together with the actual provisions they introduce.

Examples are intended to clarify concepts.

They cannot anticipate every possible circumstance.

Applicable Law

This agreement will be interpreted and governed according to the applicable law and any valid governing-law or jurisdiction provisions established for Kingdom Keys.

[FINAL GOVERNING-LAW / JURISDICTION LANGUAGE TO BE INSERTED FOLLOWING LEGAL REVIEW.]

Kingdom Keys should not finalize this provision until the appropriate legal entity, jurisdiction, operational location, and other relevant legal considerations have been confirmed.

Nothing Here Overrides Applicable Law

Nothing in this agreement is intended to eliminate a right, protection, obligation, or remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive or alter.

If applicable law requires a different treatment of a particular issue, the law controls to the extent required.

You Should Understand Before You Sign

You should not sign this agreement simply because someone from Kingdom Keys sent it to you.

Take the opportunity to read it. Ask questions. Seek independent advice if you believe you need it. And make sure you understand the general nature of the permissions you are granting.

Kingdom Keys cannot provide you with personal legal advice concerning whether signing this agreement is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

Our Goal Is Clarity

A strong agreement should not depend upon one party understanding something that the other party never knew.

We want the record to reflect something much simpler:

You understood that Meet Your Neighbor was being recorded for public media use.

Kingdom Keys explained the permissions it was requesting.

You had an opportunity to review those permissions.

You voluntarily decided whether to grant them.

And if you granted them, both parties have a clear record of what was agreed to.

Clear Terms. Clear Permission. Clear Stewardship.
Because trust is strengthened when neither person has to guess what the agreement means.

Questions Before Signing?

If you have a question about this agreement, your participation, recording permissions, publication, privacy, or how your story may be used, please contact Kingdom Keys before providing your consent.

We would rather answer your question than have you agree to something you do not understand.
